BURRITT ROOFING DOUBLE SEAMER
The well-known "Burritt" Model Roofing Double Seamer is especially designed and adapted for forming standing and double lock seams in I. C. tin (terne) and galvanized roofing.
- Locks are finished of uniform height.
- 444-A are fitted for I. C. Tin or copper and follow 1 1/4"; and 1 1/2"; - Common Roofing Tongs finishing a standing lock seam 1" high.
- 466-A are fitted for Galvanized Roofing only (not heavier than 28 gauge) and follow 1 1/2"; and 1 3/4"; - Common Roofing Tongs finishing a standing lock seam 1" high.
- Simple construction yet built strongly of malleable iron.
- Center and outside bars finely machined to make well formed lock seams evenly and without crimping.
- Each seamer has man size, well shaped "D" handles that are securely riveted on to a 1" iron pipe handle.
- Seamers have double treadle and strong return springs, making for easy operation.
- No confusing change of gauges required. No loss of time, two workmen may work at the same time in forming and finishing lock seams from end to end and against corners, ridges, walls, parapets and copings.
- Stortz Seamers are sold in sets of two pairs.
