Roof penetrations like skylights and chimneys are common “problem areas” for roofers. They pose a high probability for leaks if careful attention is not paid to the flashing being installed. The videos below are a series showing Craig Hardin of Hardin Construction using traditional folding techniques to complete skylight flashing. There is no solder/sealant/caulk used in this detail.
