SL-1 Aluminum Snow Guard for Snap Lock Panel Systems
- The SL-1 Snow Guard is a traditional looking guard that fits majority of snap lock panel systems
- Slot width of 1/2″ – will also fit over a single lock mechanical seam
- The guard can work on both 1” and 1 1/2” high seams
- The symmetrical design allows the guard to be rotated and installed at 180 degrees
- Install with 7/32″ hex bit
- 5″ W x 3.5″ H
- Available in mill finish aluminum
These guards will not fit 1″ Nail Strip panels. Nail strip panels are a tapered shape and will not accept seam mounted snow guards. Know your seam before making a purchasing decision.

If your going to ever remove Mechanical Lock panel thats been double seamed, then this is the tool for you. Does exactly what it needs to do. Have to have the right tool for the job.

This snow guard is held in place by friction, by simply tightening two screws with an Alan wrench. Very easy, no penetration of the metal roof, no leak concerns. I called the telephone number and Nick Jones was able to recommend the appropriate snow guard. We’ve had numerous snows this winter and the guards have stayed firmly in place and kept the snow from sliding off in sheets. I’m extremely satisfied with my purchase and highly recommend.
