The Stortz 84-A Slate Ripper is a professional roofing tool designed to remove broken or damaged slate without disturbing the surrounding pieces. Slide the thin, flexible blade beneath the slate, hook the hidden roofing nail, and strike the reinforced handle with a hammer to pull or shear the fastener and release the slate.
