Protect the Long Life Coating

• Maintain at least 3/4″ (20 mm) between the burner head and bottom of the bit.
• Use full flame for roughly one minute to initially heat the bit, then reduce to a small working flame.
• Do not continuously overheat the tip. Excessive heat can damage the coating.
• Never file, grind, hammer, or reshape the tip.
• After soldering, apply flux and wipe the tip clean with a damp cloth.
