The SeamSAFE Standing Seam Roof Anchor provides a reusable fall-protection tie-off point specifically designed for standing-seam metal roofing.
- The SeamSAFE roof anchor is designed to accommodate standing seam metal roofs with a height of 1″ or greater and a maximum seam width of .6″. Anchor has a 12″ length coverage
- Machined from solid 6061-T aircraft aluminum
- Anchors are held together by half-inch, grade-8 shank bolts
- 1/4″ solid stainless steel D-ring for connecting compatible fall-protection equipment
- Installs and repositions using a 3/4″ box-end wrench
- Compatible with optional SeamSAFE roof bracket, toe-board, and ladder attachments
M1 – Designed for standing seam metal roofs with seams up to 1.25″ high and 0.6″ wide. Recommended primarily for 1″ seams.
M3 – Designed for standing seam metal roofs with seams up to 2.25″ high and 0.6″ wide. Recommended primarily for 1 1/2″ and taller seams.

I bought two of these as well as the toe board brackets. Should make it eaiser to install ridge caps on steeper roofs. Haven’t used it yet. Looks like it will do the job well. Its awful to pay so much for safety equipment but still much cheaper than funeral costs.
