Brian Freed –
Prior to purchase I was using a right hand Stortz slate hammer. As a lefty I wanted to order something new. The Freund caught my eye. Overall it is a good hammer, though I prefer the balance and feel of the Stortz. My big issue is the mail puller, it’s practically useless. Can’t pull a nail over 1.5” and can’t pull a nail that isn’t sticking out at least 1/2”. Stortz customer service deserves six stars for handling shipping issues but honestly I regret not spending a little more for the Stortz hammer.
