Heating & Care

1. Keep at least 20mm (¾”) between the burner head and bottom of the bit.
2. Heat at full flame for approximately one minute.
3. Once working temperature is reached, reduce to a small flame for soldering.
4. Do not leave the Long Life tip under high heat for extended periods.
5. After soldering, brush the tip with flux and wipe clean with a damp cloth.
6. Never file or reshape the tip.

Do not file, hammer, or reshape this tip. Damage to the coating will reduce the life of the bit. Avoid prolonged heating at full flame
