Randy Ruth –
I messed up. I already had this scraper in my tool box from my father. Love that one and this one will be used for training people in my community on how to restore historic buildings in Milltown, NJ.

This is a very nice scraper. Works great with a heat gun. We would highly recommend it.
Andy Politz –
Very nice, highly functional shape. So we’ll built, this is absolutely an heirloom tool.
Jim Hansen –
Nice radius as it is, and of course, tunable. Works great with a torch or heat gun. Size Large
Joseph Janutka –
A very fine tool–sharp and well-made.

Scraping layers of paint about 1/4″ deep off original front door of manor house built in early 1800s. Full of beautiful details I didn’t want to destroy by gouging the wood. Stortz scrapers were recommended to me. Strong, sharp. Using a heat gun, I was able to scrape to bare wood in one pass, and between the two Stortz scrapers I got, I was able to get all the details, curves, beautifully. Highly recommend!!
