Nice tool and re-sharpenable, but only 2-3/4″ instead of 3.”

I would consider the 3″ Triangle Paint Scraper – 356-E the must have workhouse for the painter. Its great for flat wood surfaces and lap siding. Three sides means you can get in many miles of paint removes before you have to stop to sharpen it. The shipping was fast and the scrapers were packaged well. I will recommend them to other tradesmen.

Besides scraping the paint off my 50 year old house and multiple laps of linseed oil coating on a hundred foot wooden ship, I don’t seem to use my scrapers that often.
Until I picked up a handful of Stortz scrapers. Depending on how I sharpen them (stone, file or slow speed wet sharpening wheel) I can use these on fine to rough work. They can certainly do fine work, with an adjustment of my grip
