Double Seamed Valley – Pts 3 & 4

FI-2

In parts 1 & 2, Craig showed how to fabricated the valley piece from coil stock and connect the two pieces together at the cross-section. In parts 3 & 4, Craig shows how to prepare the intersecting field panels to seam into the valley. Notice how the panels are made overlength intentionally and then trimmed to the proper size once put into place. This allows the installer to not fret over ever inch when roll forming the panels, but make adjustments as they install the panels.
